Climate action: Alone in Denmark, at least 34 million tonnes of CO2 must go underground.
hydrogenerous™ in Viborg has sent a letter to the head of office and the energy minister to draw attention to an alternative brilliant solution. How to consume CO2

Climate action: At least 34 million tonnes of CO2 must go underground
To store CO₂, you need suitable geological formations in the underground. The storage facility must lie at a depth of at least 800 meters and can consist of porous geological layers – e.g. layers of sandstone or limestone. To ensure that CO₂ does not move upwards and escape to the atmosphere, the warehouse must be sealed by a dense layer, such as a layer of clay. Geological storage of CO2 is a technique that has been used for tens of years and is already happening in many places around the world, e.g. in the North Sea. In the Danish underground, several suitable formations can hold large amounts of CO₂.
Storage of CO2
What does it mean to consume CO2?
Catalysis means > catalysis? Popularly speaking, catalysis is a process that accelerates a chemical reaction. The substance that makes it all possible is called a catalyst.
So we use a Catalyst Hydrogenerous Reactor: A Hydrogenerous Catalysis Reactor is a steel container that can withstand the pressure that occurs in the catalysis process.
There is no input of any external power or energy, it all happens inside the reactor.
The catalyst that is in the reactor is now added CO2 and water.
3 kg of CO2 and 9 liters of water, the CO2 is consumed as the catalyst absorbs it. So consumed means it is not present anymore. Several independent Lab tests have confirmed Hydrogenerous ability to consume CO2.
This is a Catalyst Hydrogenerous Reactor of 1 MWh: The Hydrogenerous HiP Plant.
So let's do a simple math:
34 million tonnes of CO2 to go underground storage at the cost around 8 Billion
34 million tonnes of CO2 to go to HiP Plant 34.000.000 kg divided by 3 = 11.333.333
11.333.333 kg of H2 pure 98.00-99,75% pure renewable green hydrogen *HiP
Retail price in US average price per kg hydrogen> March 2024 $ 34,00 = $ 385.000.000,00
So let's do your carbon tax accounting math:
We will let you consider whether you want to send your CO2 down to the bottom of the sea or into caves or create a positive circular economy with Hydrogenerous, where CO2 is consumed and disappears as a positive asset.
